get married in our late 20’s,
have children in our early 30,
keep on growing together
when we turn 40, then 50, 60,
70, 80, and who knows maybe 90,
and then we’ll both rest in peace
with our chests touching
against one another
our arms hugged around
each others bodies
being lifted up to wherever
our souls plan to go next,
floating above the sky
right next to each other.
