One Good Day
I never had a day where I had any joy
deep down inside, I knew I was destroyed
overcoming abuse and trauma all by myself
to the point where it affected my mental health.
I used to drink when I was really depressed
back at a time when my life was a mess
hiding my addictions from the people I knew
I wish I had a day where I was happy too.
