I would love some understanding..

Like a bird in a cage , I would love to explore the outside world..

As I lay here turning another page on another day

contemplating I see the bars from my perch.

Perspective it changes from day to day.

In many ways...

I love a nice cozy home..

I have no cares no worries.

Where I don't need to roam..

I have my feed and water..

I don't have no need to fight for my life.

I would love to take flight..

More sunlight would be nice..

How I would like to feel the air beneath my wings..

I dream of taking delight in the company of other birds.

I had no idea how being in a relationship could compare to being locked in a cage...

I would love some me time..

Yes, it's convenient but at what cost?

Having sex night after night..

I truly have no need to roam..

I would love to have a conversation other than being upon my phone...

Getting out once in a while other than being Fed.

Don't leave the door open to long or I will fly away..

Just given the chance...
