I am a Woman hear me roar

My voice you can't silence,
my strength you can't deny,
with the sway of my hips
and my spirit howling to the moon,
I am a Woman ,hear me roar.

My hands raised strong as the mighty winds,
My face turned towards the sun so high,
if you walk with me ,I will hold your hands
But if you try to poke me, I swear
I will tear you apart.
I am a Woman , hear me roar.

My ancestor's blood drummed
through my veins as I rose from ashes and dust.
I am a Warrior and I am Royalty.
I am strong ,I am confident.
I am a lioness in the jungle.
I am fierce and bold but
also gentle and nurturing.
My mind, body and soul
only I can control.
Although I came from his ribs,
I stand on my own.
I am a Woman , hear me roar.

My bones have rusted because
of nurturing you for 9 months.
But these rusted bones have
the mighty power to give
you pain for a lifetime.
Challenge me once and I will
win for eternity.
I am a Woman
