What the heck is all these killings about?
Enough of taking the lives of innocent blacks all in disguise.

My soul hurts,my heart bleeds,my body aches.


Hearing,reading,and watching the bitter end of my fellow black just before our eyes.
What a heck!

At this time ,amidst the pandemic
when we are mourning the passing of many due to a virus.

Corona killed many,young and old
but here before us a young lad is killed
not by a virus but by fellow man
What the heck!

I tried to ask myself what the heck all of these killings are on and about?

What was that grievous crime that warrants snuffing off the life out of George?

How on earth can those whose job is to protect the rights,lives and properties,


Be the ones to take those from the innocent ,vulnerable and unarmed ones they are meant to protect?


George was black,human,strong and able.
He has the right to live no matter the crime

He cried for help and the heartless oppressor seemed not to care

Pinning him down,his heavy knee on his neck beneath..

He gasped for air, struggled to breathe!...."I can't breathe! I can't breathe! " those were his last.

He was human,he was pinned to death but the heartless oppressor tend not to care.

He longed for air,he begged to live but the inhumane nature of his killer showed off at its best.

What the heck is he who heard
a human shouting "I can't breathe!, I can't breathe!!!" and dared not to care?

And yet didn't move a limb his two hands in his pockets.
Humans are to listen to the cries of fellow humans when in distress.


Humans are to help one another when disaster struck and no help at sight.

Humans are to love each other no matter the colour,the tribe or race!

Then I ask, what the heck was that fellow who snuffed the life out of George,a fellow human?

George was human, a man,son,brother and prolly a husband and father...


What the heck happens to those he left unannounced?
What about the little daughter calling out for her daddy?

Did George kill a cop or any human untold?

Those are my questions still starring at me unanswered.

Was that a well thought out act just because he was black?

Was that a coincidence or wickedness in display?

Was that a deliberate crime done out of hate?

Was that a mistake or racism starring us in the face?

All these are my questions lingering without all the answers I needed.

Oh George! my brother,my colour ,my kind!

I know you not in person but your death, a deep wound it left,
Like a biological brother,your demise we'll mourn

They that killed you ,no peace they will find!

What the heck is wrong in being dark,strong and human?

Rest on George Floyd. ..
Rest on my kind and God console all yours you left behind.
