The boy smiled at his sister
" I found food "

We have food and roof ,
yet we cry .

The girl said
"I wanted that crimson dress "

The mother promised her kids
"I'll buy you something on your next birthday for today forgive me sweetie"

We have clothes and that to the best ,
yet we envy .

"We are poor "
the son said slamming the door of the mansion

"We will be okay "
the elder brother said hugging his siblings protecting them from the water leakage .

We don't have to be worried about a smallest thing,
yet we deny .

It is always this or that
why do we never say ,
"I'm grateful"

" There is a girl in our school who has holes in her socks "
the daughter laughed with her mother

"Appa has to pay for grandpa's hospital bills the socks can wait "
the young girl thought .


Why are we turning a blind eye to what we have ?

Why are we not helping others with what we have ?

We live the best of lives yet
and I know sometimes it's hard
but take a deep breath and try to realise
"I have food on the table and roof on my head why can't i just smile and say for once I have never been this grateful "


"Appreciate what we have until the life turns it into a lesson you'll regret ".
