Parting Ways
In clouds made from big hearts, our lips once touched.
The calm breeze would carry us far away.
Whispers in our ears, our love was top-notch.
Now I see, our love is in disarray.

The bright smile we once shared became a frown.
Our huge dreams and goals now turned to dry ash.
She was, once a sun, but now, just a clown.
For our love has been destroyed by this clash.

Beauty's one thing, attitude's another.
She has no manners but a skin so fine.
This I knew, when she cursed at my mother.
And spilled on her body, a cup of wine.

Even though her love had once set me free,
Now known to me that I must let her be.
