Like you didn't know
If I ever thought about you,
When you let go?

Well what could I have said, I could have lied
But since I wanted to live life, with you by my side.
Couldn't control my emotions,
I just couldn't hide.

Now that you're gone
I'll admit
Thinking about you is more than just trauma
Cause I am the culprit
You were my Armor.

You never deserved whatever you had
Every single choice you made at one point was just bad
And I swear I was really too mad
But I shrugged it off, like I was your dad.

Remember this though
You'll never know,
What pain you brought me, was more than just poetry,
Iterating it is a curse on my soul,
Cause I feel like just sitting and bawling
And someone to hug me and say it's okay
But now that you're gone, there's noone to do that,
I feel like a human caught in a mousetrap
