Haikus to Bore a Generation
It's already March
Yet snow won't stop visiting
Loneliness - quite cold.
Remember Bobby?
He does what he would not do
I wish you would too.
Spring - I've waited long
Blooms, warmth, sweetness fill the air
Only you're not here.
I've done some sleuthing
A habit of finding out
If you're what you mean.
Don't ever call me
Whenever you feel lonely -
Use your head and hand.
Didn't wear glasses
Hence, I read your drunken face
Love - all over it.
I downed lemon sour
But your words have more power
Tipsy night lover.
Your room isn't big
Enough for my hefty love
Still - more than enough.
I'm not a poet
But it itches me to write
Some things off my chest.
Someday you'll be home
My present will be a kiss
For now, think of me.
