Pilgrims (Thanksgiving chant)
We came from Plymouth,
We sailed through the sea!
We came from England,
And now we have a big feast!
Hundred of Pilgrims,
As you can see!
We eat turkey,
and all that gives glee!
Hundred of Pilgrims!
Pots of mashed potatoe,
And cranberry sauce,
Turkey and stuffings,
And no gravy would be a loss!
Hundreds of Pilgrims,
As you can see!
We eat turkey,
and all that gives glee!
Hundreds of Pilgrims,
dancing and drinking,
Holiday mood,
saying grace and praying,
Is what we do,
Hundred of Pilgrims,
as you can see!
We eat turkey,
and all that gives glee,
Hundred of Pilgrims,
Give thanks to my family,
And to pumpkin pie,
Give thanks to poetry,
I cannot lie!
Hundreds of Pilgrims!
As you can see!
We eat turkey,
and all that gives glee!
Hundreds of Pilgrims,
We are the Pilgrims,
From Plymouth we sing!
We put the spark,
for Thanksgiving!
