I ache goodbyes in my soul
Sometimes I let them come back
Just thinking of the idea
I never wanted something as much
You're missing inside me
It’s not what you made me feel
But how I embraced every bit of it
It lingers through everything
In the morning, I can’t see no other
In the night, I dream only of you
I keep asking the same thing to myself
I don’t want to make a poem
I still count the days in the palm of my right hand

Like a ghost who sees
Between shadows of blue
I’ll collect you poems
I’ll stay right where the river flows
I'll write you letters on gray paper
I’ll seal them with my teardrops
Hoping they can reach you somewhere far
Where you stay remembering me
As If I didn't fade away within time
Moving in the darkness of the night
Where my hands kiss yours in the avenues I so well know now
Shining between constellations, my eyes looking at yours
I stare at the blue still, you become another cloud in the sky
