Temple of Solace
Like the moon wandering in the sky in solitude,
Pale and weary of its loneliness.
I am standing in the temple of my solace
That was hidden in the back of my mind,
Secure in the arms of white, innocent petals
That I long to pick to adorn my hair,
To let those heavenly scent consume me,
And heal me from hoping to witness the charade,
Of feelings that are destined to be unrequited.

Not every star is meant to be seen,
Not every star twinkles in the darkness.
You were the twinkling star I saw ,
In the darkest hour of my sleepless night.

You were the star I longed to hold with both my hands on a moonlit night.
You were the star I seeked so long
With my tiring eyes .
Never had I thought of the night ,
When I would decide to let you go for good this time.

I am the crescent moon who waits patiently
For her next transition on the fateful night.
I am healing
I am transforming
To be the moon capable enough to shed the light I longed to see, on someone 's life.
