In a country diverse, a promise was due,
A leader's voice, promising and true.
With insight spirit and courage so strong ,
He stands for justice, thriving to right all wrong.
Through the teachings of adversity, he'll strive,
For the weak, his allegiance will arrive.
A charisma of hope, he takes his stand,
Guiding the nation, hand in hand.
In the darkness, his arrival fills a void,
Luminated are our lives which were devoid.
For every ending has a chance to begin,
To be led by him and let our spirits sing.
The arrival has countless lives brightened,
The souls of the corrupt have been tightned.
When all hope is lost and truth is ashore,
A Gandhi is sent to let peace restore.
