cup of coffee
My specs clouded and became frosty.
I inhaled deep and long
As my olfactory sense
Puffed up with satisfaction
Like popcorn.
My eyes widened
With sheer pleasure
As the concoction
of milk , sugar and coffee
Washed down my throat
With heightened leisure.
As the beverage
Spiralled down towards
my stomach
I felt so cool and calm
All my senses alerted themselves
As if being anointed
With balm.
I savoured my cold coffee
In absolute slow motion
The commotion in my mind
relaxed
At the intake of this
