.. and there it was
a beautiful day
before us, it spread
across the wide and vast lived land
sunshine, just enough to be had
basking in its glory
in its touch of love
like a tender kiss
like a missed and warm honest hug
from your favourite person
that you've so long missed
oh, a glorious day covered in
sunshine rays ☀️ everywhere
the world is so beautiful
when it's painted gold
you can be hurting real bad
you can be in such pain
it all seems much more bearable
when there's infinite sunshine & no rain
as it dries up all those tears
and somehow, soothes your pain!!!
