Leaving Those Who Depart
Leaving Those Who Depart
I depart from those who leave,
Forget those who forget,
Silence those who laugh,
And ignore those who belittle.
As a Passing
Like a departing soul,
I detach from the body,
Forget the world,
And quieten desire.
Resembling a Fallen Leaf
Neglected by branches,
Abandoned by humans,
Consumed by worms,
Unnoticed and forgotten,
It once had existence.
Not Found in Existence
I dwell not in being,
Exist in non-being,
Celebrating my absence,
As the masses gather,
With flowers and food displayed,
Dressed in finery,
Yet, I remain absent.
