Filtering rays of sunshine,
Brighten up my day,
My heart swells with hope and pride,
Keen for the glories coming my way...

Nothing joyful received in past
wonder when the drought will last
Still dreaming big and wishes high
hoping..doesn't end in another sigh.

Glory and joys.. seeking a minimum
little pleasures and generous smiles some
Is it that I am asking for more?
The answer is a big NO for sure.

Bringing smiles to a dejected face
Awesome feeling of winning a race.
Maybe nothing great to achieve
but sweet peaceful sleep I receive.

When the day progresses to night
Contentful of doing things right
Again the cycle of dreams
begin next day
Never to lose hope as they say.

The journey of life... goes it's way
Again the sun rises... with its cheerful rays
I move ahead being always grateful
hoping to be a blessing to some needful.
