Hellbound:

The Darkness
It consumed her
Dominated her thoughts
Sacrificed
To the alter mediocrity
A real professional
An ordinary life
Turned black
So dark it took her shadow
Nothing to see in the mirror
A lost Identity
Who am I
A recurring dream
Nightmares in black and white
Rainbows devoid of colours
Colour blind
Tears lost to the rain
She would not let the light in
Scared of what she might meet
In the darkness
Comfort was found
It’s all that she had known
Her blood had always run cold
Love was never an option
Having never received
Devoid of recognition
How to love
Where to look
Where to let the light in
When she always
Papered over the cracks
Warcraft her idea of romance
Desensitised to consequence
When life lived as a CGI
Joy removed
And replace with pain
Pinhead on your friend’s list
Was your heart
Destined to be
Hellbound
