Let it Burn (Limerick)
Roses bloom and roses wilt
As thunders gloom by the thunder hilt
Praises be and praises more
For all the beings and beings outdoor
To the lover's quilt

Fairies roam and fairies gloom
In mirth and in err where days of doom
Young filly young fellow ever did sing
Song of a bird, who'd lost its wing
Swiftly down the tomb

"Krakatoa", said the boa
As party folks by the fire say " hurrah"!
'Tis a day of joy they all say
While peering, and gazing, in dismay
Huzzah!

Love, love, love, they say, say, say
Lie, lie, lie, and stay, stay, stay
"Krakatoa!", cried the boa
And in mirth and in err they say "hurrah!"
Hurrah! Huzzah! Dismay

Roses bloom, and roses wilt
Time is fleeting in the lover's quilt
Should have listened, yes you should
But the heart lied the day you stood
End the lover's guilt

End the lovers' quilt
Burn....

Huzzah!
Huzzah!
Huzzah!
