Finding Peace
With everything that life has to give,
So much to savor and enjoy,
But the sleepless nights I live,
Is a struggle I cannot destroy.
The world is full of wonders and delight,
But my eyes refuse to close,
Restless thoughts keep me up all night,
In this battle, I am the one who loses.
I toss and turn, counting sheep,
Hoping for some peaceful rest,
But my mind continues to creep,
Leaving me feeling so distressed.
Oh, the joys of a good night's sleep,
Seem so far out of reach,
But I'll keep on trying, not to weep,
Hoping for some relief to breach.
