Desperté a medianoche y el sueño no seguía en vano;

quería que llegara la mañana,
para de su alma sacar mi nueva poesía.

Hicimos el mejor amor,
porque fue amor sin tacto.
Me había quitado el temor,
sentí que los corazones hicieron un pacto.

Me había enamorado de ella incomprensiblemente,
pero cómo hacer este amor real.
Posiblemente fue que la amé de lejos, y quizás hasta viejo,
de corazón, alma y mente, le seré leal.

I dreamed about her all night, we made love without touching;
They were the best caresses in the world;
we knew how to love each other every second;
We knew how to close our eyes and look for ourselves.

I played with her hair and
her with my lips,
I marked her neck with fire;
There was ego and envy among the darkness,
but heaven was wiser.

I felt her hands,
how she grabbed mine.
I woke up at midnight and the dream was not in vain;
she so angel and I so human;
She wanted the morning to come,
to bring out my new poetry from her soul.

We made the best love,
because it was love without touch.
I had taken away my fear,
I felt that hearts made a pact.

I had fallen in love with her incomprehensibly,
but how to make this love real.
Possibly it was that I loved her from afar, and perhaps even from an old age,
With heart, soul and mind, I will be loyal to you.
