Oftentimes disappointment and heartbreak can make the heart feel cold and numb,
And you fear you might catch a cold from the ice freezing in your soul,
Because winter's grip is deep within, and warmth is not your goal.
As frostbite from the heart's own chill, make the spirit ache,
And the mind continue to shiver, as though it were to break.
Hence, you worry that the ice inside will harden, making it impossible to heal what has grown so cold,
That the frost might turn your gentle whispers into echoes dark and dumb.
But even in the coldest night, a spark of warmth can grow,
Even when each shattered dream, and broken trust, feels like winter is cruel beyond control,
As each warmth turn to bitter frost, and left you feeling less whole.
But a whisper soft, a tender touch, can melt the deepest snow.
Even in the darkest night, when ice seems all you know,
A spark of hope, a tender light, can melt the freezing snow.
A gentle touch, a whispered word, can thaw the coldest part,
For love and hope, though sometimes faint, still live within the heart.
So guard against the ice inside, let kindness be your guide,
For though the cold may linger long, warmth cannot be denied.
Remember that in time, the heart can heal, the soul can mend,
And what was once so frozen through, can find its warmth again.
So don't fear the ice might take it's toll, because love can break the mold!!
