Standing at the edge of reality and disbelief,
A broken soul shivers deep,
Was torn and shattered on the reef,
It had only a wounded heart to keep.
Every moment eagerly the soul waited
Hoping for a miracle to take place
Just that the 'for ages' struggles ended
And it could put a smiling face.
The expectations not bringing joy
The belief of a saviour up there
In its eyes dwelled only tears to cry
Was the heart aching for some care?
Waking up to a new day once again
Didn't lose its faith in the Supreme
maybe the strength it had to gain
after all storms ,it still dared to dream.
