I shouldn't have felt disappointed,
The moment you told me,
You aren't the type to fall in love,
Because I knew from the very start,
You didn't love me,
And I knew you wouldn't have plans to,
I don't blame you,
Because I also didn't love you,
I lied about almost everything
Including my name,
But I know one thing,
I love you.

I know you have someone on your mind,
Yet,
I made myself believe that maybe one day,
You would eventually notice me and the effort I put in,
You knew how I felt about you
But you chose to coldly utter those words straight to my face,
Funny thing I didn't even cry
I just smiled
You gazed at me without any single emotion,

If I knew
Things would turn out like this,
I shouldn't have made that call in the first place,
I shouldn't have agreed to meet you,
I should have ran as far as I could,
I don't wanna run now
But,
The more I stay,
The more I get attached,
The more attached I become to you,
The more difficult it becomes for me to leave.
And yet, the more I hurt.
