today was the day I realised
our families don't really know us do they?
cuz they were sitting in the hall
watching television and
while I was in my room
crying my eyes out
they thought I liked being alone
but they don't know
I'm trying to mend my broken heart
trying to attach the pieces one by one
also I needed to practice acting
acting like I'm all fine
and proceed to fake a smile
cuz they wouldn't even
try to understand
that their expectations are killing me
the oldest child, burdened with a family
your parents are getting tired
when are you getting a job
but forget that my education is still going on
Are you taking care of your parents or not
but can someone ask me
if I'm taking care of myself first?
you have to be more mature for your age
try to understand your parents
and also be an inspiration
to your younger siblings
they will learn from you.
it's getting too much to hear
I'm don't enjoy being lonely
this is just how I vent
this is how my heart starts to mend!
