Two Lovers in the Darkness
The light came in, I was already looking
Lost in every little detail
White walls, white sheets
Honey and chocolate on the table

Glass falling from a hand
Persuading my breath, swallowing words
All my pretending left behind
He likes me louder than quieter
He let me in, he watched me burn

I never felt so endlessly young, sky full of lust
Staring at him, my fearless desire
Fingerprints all over my body
My neck, refuge of his sighs
His eyes thieves of mine

Melodies in between kisses
Permanent closure of two starving mouths
Remaining insistent in my thoughts
Pretty flower with thorns inside, untouched
Sweet, the burst of shame on its vulnerability

Red thread painted the ephemerality all over the bed
Golden hair, Golden smile, Golden soul
A thousand stars hanging from my eyes
Soft touch, its delicateness makes me shiver

Rambling in the bed like a fidget doll
Ain’t it funny to cherish someone’s bed-sheets
Holding onto the thought of them being yours?
The feeling of belonging somewhere

Fingertips drawing an infinite on the spine of his back
Colored cheeks, affection from two cold hands
My sleepy eyes seem to find peace in his
Beautiful ocean, the shiniest and most painful blue
