They say it's the hands that have weathered the storm
The eyes that have witnessed the world's changing form
And hearts that have endured through every trial and norm
They say that our grandparents are the real meaning of a lifetime of love
They survived the years of endless fighting and misunderstanding
They have the real meaning of better or for worse, for richer or for poorer
They surpassed everything in the name of love
They've seen the world in shades of gray
Yet in their hearts, love held sway

A love that's grown stronger with each passing year
A love that's weathered the storms of life
A love that's bonded our souls, oh so dear
A love that's been our anchor, our guiding star
A love that's shown us what love truly can be

Through sunshine and strife
Through laughter and tears
Through losses and wins

A lifetime of love
A precious art
A masterpiece etched in each other's heart
Through silent nights and stormy days
We've always found our way

In this love of ours
Our love tested
Faith Tested
Journey tested
And shall I say that
Till death do we part.
