There's a churning in my stomach,
The ache is too much,
The relief doesn't seem near,
This pain I can't bear.
The speech has left me,
No one to hear my pleas,
Even if I cry my heart out,
To others it'll only be a whining sound.
I know it'll pass,
Like time that doesn't last,
I only have to drag on,
This dreary self before it crumbles down.
