Never wish them pain, for it's not your nature,
Even if they've caused you hurt and heartache,
For behind their actions, there's surely a rupture,
A brokenness that they cannot seem to shake.
It's easy to hold onto anger and hate,
To let bitterness fill up your heart,
But remember, they too have their own fate,
And a pain inside that tears them apart.
Their hurtful words and spiteful deeds,
Come from a place of deep pain,
And though it's hard to understand their needs,
Wishing them healing, will only bring you gain.
For healing is a powerful force,
That can soften the hardest of hearts,
It can be the remedy for any remorse,
And bring an end to never-ending parts.
So instead of wishing them harm,
Or holding onto grudges and strife,
Wish them healing, with all your charm,
And watch as their pain fades, like a flicker of a life.
For in the end, we are all just humans,
With our own struggles and scars,
And showing compassion and understanding,
Can truly heal even the deepest of our scars.
So never wish them pain, it's not who you are,
But rather wish them healing, from near or far,
For in doing so, you'll set yourself free,
And bring peace to their pain, so they too can finally see.
