Stone Mountain
I climb this mountain
This mountain made of stone
I climb this mountain
I climb it all alone
I climb this mountain
where the wind blows cold
I climb this mountain
with summit sights left untold
Rising to the summit
passing pines along the way
I realize I’m not alone
as my guide is here to stay
“How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!””
Isaiah 52
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.”
Psalms 121:1-4 NIV
To me, the photo symbolizes the footstep(s)
of those who proclaim the good news
Words so impactful
they are cast in stone.
Peace be with you all!
