Dawn in the waiting room
Medications and sutures help as they can.
But the same eyes look back at the reflection of your change. You know it's better, you've heald. The blood has stopped.

But you only ever knew how to be wound.

We want to grow and change and get better. But we need carrot and stick and string. Because if our scenery stays the same we cannot perceive ourselves any different when our surroundings never change.

We are much more than the words we don't speak.
One day we will crack and spring a leak.
Out will pour our truth.

In power we shall drown.

The glory of you will blind the stars.
You will be the jewl of the sky.
The sun you birth will be mothered in your glow.
All the world and all it's peoples will know.
It mattered.

You matter
Don't give up
Let the bandages hold you
Your shine will come
