In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone...
The loss of a loved one
need not necessarily be death forever
Even the distance in minds..
is same as in to speak never.
Your small caring gestures and love
took me on a hopeful spree somehow.
Be it the warm, tender touch
or the deep affectionate stare
both always took me unaware.
The feeling of having someone to speak
made me strong although being weak.
Now... these thoughts play hide and seek with me
As you remain only a wonder to see..
Why did a beautiful relationship end?
Why weren't attempts made to mend?
You seem happier ... after ending it
whether I live or die.. doesn't matter to you a bit.
No questions... and no answers
Not in touch.... no meeting by chance.
I remain with the thought... forever
"was this relation good enough to enhance? "
