Echoes of Freedom Lost
In the light of her father's love, she danced free,
His joy in her happiness, a sight to see.
But with his passing, a shadow fell,
And the chains of grief, her spirit quell.

Once she roamed like a bird in the sky,
Now burdened by sorrow, unable to fly.
Her heart once light, now heavy with pain,
Her freedom lost, like tears in the rain.

Yet in the depths of her darkened night,
There glimmers a spark, a faint light.
For love and memories will always remain,
Guiding her through the storm and the rain.

Though her father may be gone from sight,
His love still shines, a beacon bright.
And in that love, she'll find her way,
To reclaim her freedom, come what may.
