Rise Again
People say that I am so strong,
if only they knew that I am barely hanging on,
Piece by piece I’m slowly breaking,
sitting in the dark with just a shimmer of light,
that is my hope,
the reason I still fight.
Every day is a new battle,
Yes I maybe strong,
but I have to be,
I never want anyone to feel like me,
so I write and try to show my story ,
if this is you too than my friend you are not alone,
I will break free from these chains,
and I will rise again.
I will refuse to give up.
