As all else around me
seems to have gone
to have collapsed
into a world unknown
a world without patience
with chances to be kind
its now a world filled with wars
a world that's blind
to the suffering of others
to their pains of body and of mind
turning their cheeks
as tho they were blind
a world without care or thought
of actions to regret
a world without conscience
with worse to come yet
there's no one listening
no one to stop
mankind in its haste
to conquer itself and all
they all seek power
to control everyone else
never taking time
to stop and look at themselves
where is the love,
for oneself and others too?
what happened to caring
give a helping hand to pull you through
everyone's out for themselves
taking the lives of others in their way
What happened to mankind,
to turn out that way?
Losing ourselves in the midst of chaos
no one leading with love
seeking to gain everything
or nothing at all
out for only one's self
nobody seems cares anymore
about anyone else
no one showing love for one and all
What's happened to mankind,
can't you see that it's wrong?
humanity's dying right before our eyes
