Roads were deserted, traffic lights were changing colour for no one. The beach was right in front of Mia's Parents' house, she used to pass by every time to go to her new mansion, it had been years since she entered that property. Sam stopped and Mia walked out with her luggage, her eyes fixed on the beige and white building with a modern window and an amazing interior. You could see it all from out there.
For the first time in years, instead of taking that left she walked straight across the road and stood in front of their home. She noticed her name still being on the nameplate, Mia observed everything from out there through that one big window but never had she eyed down to the small golden nameplate newr the door. She smiled. She remembered why she was there. The smile dissappeard. She rang the doorbell, *Ting* , that familiar notification sound on the doorbell. She waited for a minute, no one opened. Another went by. She wasn't ready to go back. Something told her they were inside. She turned her back towards a wall, took out her phone and started scrolling on her socials. "Gosh, so many comments, dm's..."
*Notification*
Mia clicked on it as soon as she could. All other messages were before this 'thing' broke out. Any message now was from someone who survived and it was necessary to read it.

Mia started panting. First of all that was a weird name, plus why was a random singer being targeted here?
Then she heard familiar footsteps, and the door to her house opened.
