Pearls of wisdom ✴️
I overheard conversation between a man and his grandson in the park.The boy was upset as he couldn't score good ranking in NEET. I loved the way the man explained worldly wisdom gained from his experiences infront of his grandson .
"Sometimes life gives us tough time
We feel like we are not worthy
But a little extra efforts can change an ordinary moment into magical one.
Just a little effort.. "
"Do you think I didn't study enough?" the boy questioned.
It's not about your knowledge or efforts.. it's about your planning.I noticed the lack of planning on your preparation?
"How it makes difference ? purpose was to study all materials"
"Along with study the whole curriculum or material it is also important to set a time table..which concept needs more time and which less is equally important.In your school also teachers set the timetable like this or not?" He asked
"Yes they do .." The boy agreed.
"That's what is important Plan everyday whatever you are going to do.Planning carries high weightage in gaining success."
"But sometimes things don't work according to our Plan..then?" The boy asked.
"Sometimes our plan works and sometimes doesn't ....Keep your plan simple and flexible. It is wise to change your plan as situation changes. A perfect trained housewife like your mother also plans everything in advance like what to cook in breakfast...And believe me even this simple planning can also fail sometimes .."
"How??? " Boy asked
"Suppose if she plans to make 'Aaloo ke paranthe' and finds that there is no potatoes in the kitchen, .Tell me what will she do?"The man asked .
"She may cook simple parantha or may be she will go to market to purchase potatoes." The boy replied.
"Exactly but do you think she will think that she is not a good cook?"
No, Why would she, it is just her way of planning failed not she"The boy replied.
"Exactly, that is my point beta,if this time you didn't succeed it doesn't mean you are not good ..you just need to focus on
to explore the reason and to find out the solution. Keep your eyes on your goal and equally important is to keep your goals fixed,Keep your plan ready and equally ready to keep your plan flexible.Change your vision to see the things..plan accordingly and turn plan into habits. Soon you will notice the light of success in your life."The man poured all his wisdom in front of his grandson.
I don't know the child understood or not but that was a wise lesson I want to keep safe with me forever.
