Abscond the darkeness ( Chapter - 30 )
Author's P.O.V.~

Noise can be heard from the corridors and the voice of hurried footsteps filled the whole royal palace . Julia was still not feeling right but was avoiding her feeling for now and walked out of her room when she found out her room was being guarded by two guards , just as she opened the door they stood in front of her .

She frowned visibly feeling unpleasant about this situation .

"Are you blocking my way?"-Julia

"Pardon us my lady but we have orders from the Duke to refrain you from coming out."- Guard one

The guard who spoke was a tall and muscular man with a small scar almost faded but still somewhat visible under his left eye and seemed to be a serious and loyal man from his tone .

"What?Why th-"
Julia stopped speaking when she saw her dad coming to her side worriness etched on his face with a flick of maybe , fear? He stopped in front of her his hands clasped behind his back.

"Julia, you need to leave my child. Everything in the palace is getting chaotic , this is not something to be seen by you."

He spoke in the softest tone he could speak but still couldn't hide the commanding tone in his words and tone, Julia was visibly not feeling good about this , his dad never ever feared anything , then why now?

"Hum aapki aagya ka apmaan nhi krna chahte hai , lekin hum nhi jaayenge . Aakhir hua kya hai? Kya chupa rahe hai aap humse?"
(I do not wish to disrespect your order, but I will not leave. What happened after all? What are you hiding from me?)

Julia spoke with her doe like eyes filled with curiosity and now somewhat tension and worriness, Duke didn't say anything and simply ordered the guards gesturing them to take you away to which they complied.

"Aap Aisa nhi krsakte hai humare saath."
(You can't do this to me)

Julia struggled under their grip but it was all a futile attempt her father took a step forward towards her and gently cupped her cheeks smiling at her with soft eyes which made her struggling lessen.

"Bas iss baar humari baat maanlijiye fir AAP Jo kahingi wahi hoga."
(Just listen to me this once , and after this I will never force you and will listen to you.)

Julia stopped struggling.
