Inside The Labyrinth - Part I: ‘Emotions as Cobblestones’
Our minds are like a labyrinth.

This statement is one of the theories that make up my 'labyrinth' existing as a thought in one of it's passages. Let me explain.

We, as a whole, are a duality. Numerous traits and aspects constitute us. Even our thoughts and emotions make up parts of who we are today. Each of us bring a certain quality into the world, so why not express these qualities freely?

As I mentioned earlier, there are various aspects that define us: our EMOTIONS, THOUGHTS and TRAITS. But I would like to reveal the dark side, where the emotions act like cobblestones in our way. So let me present my series called 'Inside The Labyrinth' and it's part I : Emotions as Cobblestones.

1. The Kaleidoscope of Life:

Many of us have lost a certain someone in our lives, due to death, or even due to friendships falling apart. 'The Kaleidoscope of Life' is a composition of poetry which portrays the fear of loss, and the unexpected obstacles that life sets in our way.

2. Emerge From The Darkness:

Another necessity of this labyrinth of ours is that is seeks acceptance and love, which leads to the fear that some of our aspects may not be seen like the beauty of an anemone. This feeling is embedded into my poem 'Emerge From The Darkness'.

3. The Orenda of Affinity:

As we continue to scour for this acceptance, we might come across a new perception in which we sense similarities and allow ourselves to be free before it. 'The Orenda of Affinity' is a poem which describes the orenda, or the mystical force within us when we experience this.

4. folk tale:

Yet another thought in my labyrinth - hope. How intriguing it is; it provides us with strength in our trials and tribulations, yet somehow, tortures us with the wish to replay a certain beautiful of epoch, when it has ended. Allow yourself to explore this thought, with my poem 'folk tale'.

5. dear golden hiraeth:

This poem focuses on the concept of nostalgia and change. I think that we are like a kaleidoscope, we constantly change from time to time. This poem depicts the nostalgia - of no one but yourself. Do you ever miss the old version of you, or even the life or experiences of that version?

The poems are posted on my account, so you all can read them from there. I had tried to paste the link, but Writco assumed it was a phone number and threw an error. I would like to thank you all, those who chose to explore the depths of this series with me. The part II of this series will be arriving as well, though I am unsure when.
