Avantika went to meet her boyfriend Rohan, who was returning from the U.S. She waited for him at the cafe for hours. As she was about to leave, Rohan arrived drunk. An argument ensued, and Rohan was about to slap her when a stranger intervened, knocking Rohan down and saving Avantika.

Later, Avantika discovered that the stranger was Ishaan, her old schoolmate. They reminisced about the good old days and enjoyed their time together.

They went to Avantika's home, where Ishaan met Avantika's friend Naina.

The next morning, Avantika and Ishaan decided to meet for coffee. They cherished their time spent together, and Avantika felt comfortable being herself in his presence. After their coffee date, Ishaan received an urgent call for a court hearing.

While going to the court, Ishaan reminisced about the time spent with Avantika. He felt like he was falling for her, again, but was she feeling the same way?

Would she ever be able to leave Rohan? Ishaan's mind was filled with uncertainty. He told himself to calm down and decided to talk to Avantika in the evening.

Even in the court today, he couldn't focus.

"I've heard that love makes a person useless... Am I falling in love,again?" he thought to himself.

He was in such a good mood that even though he usually demanded harsh punishment for criminals, today he agreed to the smallest one. The accused was charged for an offence related to Intellectual Property of one of the client companies of his Law Firm.

When his Senior Advocate found out, he was quite upset with him. But Ishaan kept smiling despite being scolded. It seemed like nothing was bothering him today.

Around 5:30 in the evening, Vaibhav called him, and they both met at a tea stall near the court. Vaibhav had been thinking since the last night about what had happened to him.

They met at the tea stall, and Vaibhav asked him again, "Will you tell me what happened to you? You came so late last night. When I asked, you said you'd tell me in the morning.Then you left early & now, you're just smiling."

Ishaan replied, "I'll tell you everything, bro... it's a long story." With that, he told Vaibhav about the meeting with Avantika last night and today's tea date.

Vaibhav listened carefully and then said, "Look, bro... I'm happy for you that you met Avantika. As a friend, I also want you both to be together. But..."

Ishaan raised an eyebrow and asked, "But what?"

Vaibhav said, "But don't forget that she's still with this Rohan guy. She sees you only as a friend."

Ishaan, a little annoyed, said, "But, I've told you how badly Rohan behaves with her. I want to keep her happy. Maybe if I help her, as a friend, she'll understand."

Vaibhav replied, "Despite his bad behavior, she's still with him, right? Stop dreaming like in the movies. Think rationally. And even if she leaves Rohan once, do you think he'll let her go so easily?"

Shocked, Ishaan said, "How can he not let her go? If he does anything, I'll break his jaw."

Vaibhav then tried to explain to him, "From what I've heard about Rohan till now, I don't think he's a nobody. I'm just worried that you might get into trouble because of all this."

Ishaan felt a little down now because Vaibhav's words were bitter, but to some extent, true. Avantika was still very much into Rohan.
He thought that there was no reason to continue this conversation as of now. He bid goodbye to Vaibhav and went towards his car.

Meanwhile, Avantika had also left the office for home, with Naina. Avantika seemed quite happy today.

After observing her for a while, Naina asked her, " So Avi, what's the reason behind the smile on your face? What's going on?"

Avantika, trying to hide her smile, replied, "No, nothing... What could it be?"

"Okay... now you're hiding things from me. Nice." teased Naina.

"What's there to hide, Nainz? It feels good to meet an old friend after so long, right?" Avantika said.

"Just a friend? Ain't something brewing between you two?" Naina teased Avantika.

"Your mind spins such odd tales. I don't think anything like that about Ishaan. He is a friend, nothing more. I don't get into relationships with every guy who becomes my friend. And besides, Rohan and I are still as strong as ever. No one can come between us."

"Yeah yeah, I know how strong you guys are. After what happened in the café last night, how can you even think of saying that? You were lucky that Ishaan was there...otherwise...." Naina said.

Avantika tried to change the topic and said, "Oh come on, why are we discussing all this now? Please change the topic yaar?"

After that, there wasn't much conversation between them. Naina also thought there was no point in pursuing the topic further. She took out her earphones and started listening to songs.

Avantika was quite distressed after hearing Naina's words. Throughout the journey, she kept thinking about Rohan. She was angry with him, but she was also worried about him.

She had called Rohan several times since morning, but he hadn't answered her calls. She had even sent him messages, but he hadn't replied.

By the time they reached home, it was already 7:30 in the evening. She came to know from one of his friends that he is in his Studio.

Avantika couldn't bear it anymore. She told Naina that she was going to meet Rohan. She wanted to talk to Rohan face to face.
