Water was showering from the sky as I stood outside a local vendor shop to get a meal. I had a credit card given by Aria which had a decent amount of money to last me a few weeks. But if they found out I ran, they will certainly block the card. So I withdrew a large amount of cash and I won't have problems like searching for a job to survive.

I was standing, waiting for my burger, under a small shade of a tree , trying not to get wet under the pour. My bike was a few feet away from me in the rain. I saw a girl running from the far right of the street towards me. She was completely drenched , her long hair sticking to her back. She suddenly stopped in front of my bike and sat on it, searching the keys to turn it on.

I ran and started shouting, " Heyy ! that's my bike. You mistook it to be yours !"
She remained in the same position,
" Then hop in and give me the keys, I am in a hurry !"

Was this girl going nuts ? why will I sit behind a complete stranger ?

I gave her a confused look and told her to get off my bike. She was too adamant and was trying to turn the bike on without the keys.

" Please it's an emergency, I need to get out of here as soon as I can. I'll give you whatever you want, just help me", she told me, her eyes begging.
" Are you running away from someone?" I asked, looking behind us to find someone coming after her.

" Yes yes, please help me". She hopped out of the bike and motioned at me to ride .
" Do you know how to ride this ?" I asked her.
" Yes , why ?" she replied.
" Well then, I'll sit behind you and you drive it", I said and sat down on the far end of the seat.

She gave me a look of confusion , but jumped in front of me and roared the engine to life and without thinking much, here I was sitting behind a complete stranger again.
