I sometimes purchase fruits and vegetables from a shop on my way to school.An old uncle owns that shop. Yesterday I purchased some items . A boy of around 15 years was there to attend the customers in place of uncle. He looked puzzle while making bill of purchased items. He took out the diary where the today's price of all items were written.I was surprised to notice that a student of class 10 was using his phone for simple calculations.
I offered my help when I found him struggling with calculations of price.He replied that he calculated all... but was trying to find the amount for 750 grams of grapes.
I asked him how educated is his grandfather.
He replied that he is illiterate .
I thought I never waited too long at the shop. He was too strong in all his deals.. Not only uncle all other vendors and shopkeepers too are so perfect even though they are not much educated.
At last he told me the price which was 20 rupees less than my calculations.. I smiled and paid the money after telling him where he went wrong.
Before leaving I suggested him to spend some more time with his grandfather to gain simple life hacks for living easy life as our education system is lacking behind in that field.
