We ran for our lives, literally for the first time in my life. Gun shots were heard just behind us and the nearby glass panels were shattering due to the bullets. It seemed like an action movie scene, the only thing was it was really happening. I dragged Mr. I-am-so-smart-you'll-die-without-me as fast as I could but this man was too heavy for me. Instead of that thankful look he should have had on his face for not leaving him here, this man had an angry look which clearly stated ' if you leave me behind, I'll haunt you for lifetime' , so I had to take him out of here anyhow.
" Move fast you turtle woman! you'll kill us both!" he shouted at me as if it was all my fault.
" Yes ofcourse! if you had eaten a bit less, maybe I would have been able to drag you out of here !" I very politely answered.

"Maybe if you had eaten a bit more, you would have been able to walk instead of crawling !"

" Just shut your stupid mouth and atleast try dragging yourself on your own!"

" I am trying "

" No you are not!"

Somehow we made it out of the tunnel but the guards didn't stop following us.
The area outside the tunnel was surrounded by trees and bushes. But a faint distant light was seen.
" We can't go there" he said following the direction in which I was looking.

"Why ?" was my very obvious question.
" Because it will the first place they'll check, stupid" he replied in the most arrogant tone as if it was some general knowledge everyone should have.

" Oh , I don't run away from people with guns everyday like you to know this, silly" I answered flipping my hair behind.
"It's common sense".
"No it isn't ".

In the end , we decided to hide in the bushes and dark till the sun doesn't rise.
That night, I didn't sleep, because it felt as if someone has held a gun right at my head even though nobody was around except this good for nothing person.
Finally, I asked him the question I always wanted to ask since I saw him hanging in that room,so that I could curse him a bit more " What's your name?"
To which his very expected reply was
"Smarter".
" I asked your name idiot, not the thing you can never be".
I earned a cold stare from him for that, to which I simply smiled and winked.
"Alexandrio Romano"
he answered and fell asleep right next to me.
