Simple yet twisted( Chapter 3:- Downward spiral)
"Once you go to rehab, you either get fully cured or otherwise you enter the eternal downward spiral, if an addict wishes to live, the internal want to become clean must become clear in the mind of such a person,...", Dr Clarke put forward his observation to Dan, who was not paying attention, unfocused, staring into the distant oblivion, unfazed.

"Get up bro, please you're a sportsman, be strong for fuck's sake", Ri pleaded with Dan, who was curled on the floor, warm streaks of tears pouring down his aura,"Ella, Ella",he screamed, his insides imploded but there came no answer. She was gone and it would last forever, he couldn't take it all in, he tossed another one of his vodka bottles, breaking it in the process.

"Jesus Christ brother, please understand that she's gone forever, you cannot bring her back, but you certainly can sustain her dream of seeing you on a pedestal of artistry by continuing to look for an inlet into the industry, she....", but she couldn't finish.

"For fuck's sake RiRi stop bringing her name into our conversations in vain, in full fucking vanity. I am not stopping being a washed up piece of shit, because that, that is what I precisely am, can't you fucking see, me the one who was sprung into life by her mere smile touching my aura, I am hopelessly and surely wasted, and yes, I'll kill myself and join her", he laughed like a maniac while he poked a needle into his right arm while Ri looked at him in horror and dread.

Ri was not sad, she had just accepted her fate as the universe shoved it at her, like carrots to a donkey, but she had always dreaded it. She loved her brother and could not leave him to die, but her tears had dried, nobody noticed while she cried near the window and rubbed the tears off by the curtain, afraid that Ran would know that she was afraid and sad, if she used a handkerchief, Ran was so busy making a landscape for the past week that she had not the heart to bring him out of his solitary profession.

Nothing made sense to her anymore, pretty and young as she was, she could not, she absolutely could not stomach losing her brother, just like she and him had lost their father, mother had died giving birth to her, and all they had was daddy, but even that God would not grant them, he died when she was 16, and he was 18. He had taken up his place as an actor, he was making a decent earning off his acting skills. She never had to ask him for money, somehow it always found a way to his purse, once there was a fifty dollar note with a note next to it, "Sorry I couldn't stay for your birthday sweetie, have fun, happy 20th champ🫂."

Her eyes were becoming moist again, she never held the possibility of life without her partner in crime.

"Ri", Dan called somewhere in the distance, while she was white with shock, he had come over to their place?

Coming up in chapter 4:-
The transformation required was immense, he let go of coke and alcohol first, and then tobacco, it took four months each, but the year did him much good as he was able to put Ella's thoughts into action.
