in this his soldiers used to hide in the jungles and hills and would suddenly attacked on their enemies during the war with Adil Shah he used his warfare strategy along with his army hit declared a surprise attack on bijaypur through this his army was small his surprise attack helped Shivaji defeat Adil Shah

to save himself and his people Shivaji made his fort on hill this fort on the hill was surrounded by Deep valleys and rivers this used to make it hard for his enemies to win over his phone with this courage and wits , he kept them away from Maratha Kingdom
