Athena & the ghost (just for fun)
"Egos clash like burning knights; what's an insignificant power drive if we're both holding a knife? She tries so hard to fight, even if what they have isn't quite right. Control is just a myth; they cling to their wounds, shunning the healers that come around. Yet, for the world, the camera captures a staged kiss, so profound."

He asks, hopeful yet dreading, "Will what we have last?" She whispers, "I don't know," a response that leaves him aghast. "First, let's tend to our garden," she says, hinting at fixing their broken selves.
"What exactly do you mean?" asks the boy. "Let's work to fix ourselves first, let's mend our gardens," says the girl. "I'll try, I don't know if it'll be easy," says the boy. "Nothing precious to us is ever easy," said the girl. The boy looks off into the distance, simply longing to know where it went wrong, where did it turn pretend.

Tomorrow we could tend to our gardens then" the boy insisted with dedication firing up his eyes later simmering into doubt
"I'll try not to focus on negative things" he thought to himself. the girl hugged the boy but for some reason he didn't have it in himself to hug her back. "I'm going for a walk" he blurted out, leaving the girl.
As the boy walked, he was so consumed by his thoughts that he didn't hear the sound of roaring engines wavering behind him. "Is this the end, what about tomorrow?" he thought, finally closing his eyes. The girl waited and waited for the sound of his footsteps to emerge, only to be left with streams of emotions by the announcement of his departure.

"Life is so delicate, breaking so easily, like every bone within us. If we can't treasure what we have only waiting until the bitter end, that lost embeds what could've been."

Come back," the girl exclaimed, tears streaming down her face. She paused, feeling the weight of his presence even in her dreams. "You haunt me," she whispered softly to herself. After the boy's departure, life seemed to come to a standstill. Suddenly, a voice interrupted from the living room, "These are the last of the boxes, sis." Quickly collecting herself, the girl responded, "Okay, thank you, sister. You may go now. I'll call you once I reach my new apartment." As the door closed in the distance, accompanied by the sound of a car engine, she was left alone with her thoughts.

"Running away is much easier; little by little, the heart and mind try so hard to keepsake the memories that it becomes unbearable. Our home is no longer ours anymore.

What a beautiful apartment," said the girl, finally relaxing after settling in comfortably. "I wonder what it would be like... I wonder what he would think if he saw this apartment." She took a deep breath, stopping the soon-to-be flooding tears. "All I need is a shower; a hot shower will clear my head," she thought to herself.
She jumped in the shower, closing the shower curtain. Trying not to lose herself in her thoughts, she eventually got consumed by it all. She slid her back along the wall until she found herself curled up on the shower floor, tears flooding as the water turned into a waterfall.
The lights suddenly flickered off, leaving the girl to rush out of the restroom, breaking her trail of tears. She ran to her bedroom, accompanied by her lamp. She thought to herself, "Now I might have to get someone to check the lights out tomorrow. What's wrong with me? You're dead, but I'm here, thinking of trivial lights.

"with sorrow comes unexpected bouds, others sorrow comfort our own in a setting we'd least expected"

"I guess she can't see me either. I can't eat or enjoy the sexual pleasurs that life has to off. Now, I have to forfeit over my peace as well. How tiring," thought the Ghost. ""Hey, shut the hell up!" said the Ghost. The girl's cries were disrupted once more. She froze and yelled, "Who are you? Are you a ghost?" The Ghost replied sarcastically, "No, I'm a talking turtle." The girl, feeling hopeless, responded, "I don't care anymore. If you want to kill me, you can. I have no use in living anymore." The Ghost reassured her, "I'm not going to kill you. I tried to scare you but you were to busy crying to notice other lights flickering off as well, who are you anyway?" The Girl replied back nonchalantly, "I'm Athena."
