The severely malnourished child was on the verge of death. I quickly set up an IV to give him much needed nutrition and other supplements.
Hours later when he was stable I turned in anger upon the illiterate parents. " Why are you starving this child? He needs proper food! "
Tears dropped down the broken, skeletal man who stood before me with folded hands. "Look around you, Doctor Sahib, the land is dead. We have no food."
After hearing what they said, it made me broke.
Due to poverty they are facing so much problem which include hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and other basic services, social discrimination and exclusion as well as the lack of participation in decision-making.
Then I paid the doctor's fees, and gave that child food and drinks and decided to take all their responsibilities.
They were very happy.
Seeing them happy make me so calm and relaxed. It brings a smile on my face.

There are a lot of people in the world who are suffering from poverty and they only want three meals a day which they aren't able to get. This kills them slowly. They need solution of this problem.
