The box, The broken mirror
Summer vacation has begun Mom and Dad dropped me off at my grandparent's mansion. Being the only one home the house felt lonely of course I always stood in the same room. Being told they were back by nightfall I decided to do some exploring. while that happens other rich kids would be out shopping, The rooms were big every room in the master bedroom would be the biggest. About halfway into my search, I ran into a room with a broken mirror 🪞. Curious one walked in oddly enough the winding staircase had no purpose. Normally every room is clean but this was different did I step into something one shouldn’t have? When I went to the other part of the room, an old desk with a locked drawer stood there even more curious. Above my head, the attic stood waiting for me to reveal the secrets behind it. Looking up but slightly back away I pulled the rope and the stairs came down. Not even thinking one traveling up the stairs, but at some point, I trip over a locked box sitting in the attic. face first into the floor I groan, but as I look at the box something feels familiar.
