My house was built upon the sunrise
It took me awhile to realise it
Every time I climb up the stairs
All I see is how the sun shines perfectly
The light comes through nonchalantly
Liking every minute spent up here on the balcony

To be alone is never the reason
I'm all sad and mysterious
To be in love is somehow what I
keep askin continuously
To my Maker, I couldn't tell
Does it, Him, the One, who desperately
want me unpartnered, living this life in celibacy
or, actually, it's just rather be me (?)

Now that I'm alone in You
In You alone, I trust
Along my prayers, 'Teach me to trust Your will,'
Once my soul spoke and cried out
But, matters of my heart is different
To entrust You a vision of the Godly man
that You have set on purpose for me,
will I suitably be the apple of my Adam?
