Pain Gives Birth to Victory
Excitement filled the atmosphere and the thought of traveling to another country to babysit my very first grandson had me estatic. Little did I know, pain awaited me. The big day arrived and O what a wonderful reunion! The hours of travel had me a bit weary and no sooner did I lay upon the bed, a severe pain pierced my back. Thought it would subside and as my son left for his trip to another state. I would be left alone with my grand baby. The worse happened. I lost all communication and did not know anyone in that city. During this time, my pain caused me to cry out to God, O God, please help me! each time I moved, the pain seemed unbearable but found enough strength to take care of the baby. while in pain, I dressed him, and took him for a stroll. What was so amazing, we grew a stronger bond and miraculously, God kept and empowered me during what seemed like my greatest pain. The return home was more challenging though. my every move was extremely painful and caused me to scream out. People were staring on the airport. However, God never leaves His children alone. There at my waiting area for my departure home was a family member, this was such a refreshing sight for sore eyes. she welcomed and took care of me until I boarded the plane.

pain rode with me all the way home and while I lay upon my bed and thought of how plans were already in motion for me and the Family to travel on a cruise the next day. I prayed, O God, please heal and take away the pain. sleep ushered me into an unknown land where I was singing a beautiful song. people of every nation could hear it and they bagan following. I awakened singing it and discovered, the pain was gone. The pain birthed me the Victory!
